The intellectual case
Why flow rate matters.
It's not just how much hydrogen is delivered. It's how quickly your tissues reach saturation.
When you inhale molecular hydrogen, research suggests most tissues — brain, liver, kidneys — reach saturation within minutes. Muscle tissue takes a little longer. But the time it takes to reach that point depends directly on flow rate. A lower-flow machine takes longer to saturate your tissues. A higher-flow machine gets there faster.
Once you're at saturation, that's where the benefit accumulates. Your cells are bathed in molecular hydrogen, oxidative stress is being addressed, and the antioxidant effect is sustained. The goal of every session is to get there — and stay there.
This is why the Hydro Nova's 1,500 ml/min output matters. It reaches tissue saturation meaningfully faster than a lower-flow machine — which means more of your session is spent at peak hydrogen concentration, not building toward it.
The Hydro Medic gets there a little faster still. But here's the honest truth: if your session is 30–60 minutes, the difference in saturation time between the Nova and the Medic is relatively small. The Nova gets you there quickly enough that the gap is, for most people, negligible.
The Hydro Medic makes most sense if your time is severely limited. For a standard daily session, the Hydro Nova delivers the saturation benefit at nearly half the price.
