Hydro Medic · 3,000ml/min

For those who've read far enough to know why it matters.

It is not the machine most people need — and we think that is worth saying first.

The Medic is a specific choice for a specific context. Twice the flow of the Nova. For severely limited session times, intensive recovery, or considered longevity protocols.

The specifications

Four numbers worth knowing.

Same technology as the rest of the range. The differences are in dose and dimension. The Medic delivers twice the hydrogen flow of the Nova — and the build is scaled to suit sustained, intensive sessions.

The honest version

Three contexts. Not everyone.

For most people, the Hydro Nova is the right machine. The Medic is for a narrower set of circumstances — and we'd rather describe them honestly than invite the wrong buyer.

The Hydro Medic delivers 3,000 ml/min — twice the flow rate of the Nova. At that output, tissue saturation is reached faster, and the machine tolerates sustained sessions without strain. It is the most capable device in the H2 Pure Life range, and it is also the most particular about who it suits.

01

Severely limited session time

If you can only commit ten or fifteen minutes a day, the Medic's higher flow rate reaches saturation in the window you have. For a 30–60 minute session, the Nova gets there comfortably — the Medic's advantage narrows considerably.

02

Considered longevity protocols

For practitioners or individuals building a structured longevity programme with specific higher-dose targets, the Medic provides the output the protocol calls for. This is a deliberate, informed choice — not a default.

03

Intensive recovery contexts

Elite athletic recovery, post-operative recovery under medical guidance, or any context where time-to-saturation genuinely matters more than cost. Research into hydrogen's recovery role is still emerging — the Medic supports the upper end of the protocols studied.

If this is you

Not for daily maintenance — see Nova.

If your practice is a quiet 30–60 minute session most days, the Medic is over-specified. It will work beautifully — but the Nova will do the same job at nearly half the price, and we'd rather be straight about that.

The full specification

Every number, on one page.

For those who want the detail before they decide. Flow rates, dimensions, materials, certifications, what's in the box — everything is here.

Output & performance

What the machine delivers per session.

  • Flow rate3,000 ml/min — twice the Nova. Reaches tissue saturation faster, supports sustained intensive sessions.
  • Output compositionHydrogen and oxygen in a 2:1 ratio by volume, produced directly from pure-water electrolysis. The hydrogen component is 99.99% pure — no catalyst residue, no contaminants.
  • Session timerSettable from 15 minutes up to 2 hours per session. Auto-shutoff on completion. Sustained-use capability beyond this is available — please ask if relevant.
  • Noise levelSlightly higher than the Nova given the larger twin-tank architecture — still comfortably quiet in a treatment room or home office setting.

Electrolyzer & materials

The membrane that does the work.

  • ElectrolyzerSolid polymer electrolyte (SPE / PEM) with N117 membrane, manufactured in the United States. Pure-water type — no catalyst additive required. Twin-chamber configuration.
  • Membrane lifespanRated for 10,000 hours of operation.
  • MaterialsNo PFAS ("forever chemicals") used anywhere in the machine or its fluid path.
  • CertificationCE certified.

Engineering

How it is built.

  • BuildMobile professional-format chassis with handles and castors. Suited to treatment-room use as well as dedicated home installation. Not classified as a medical device in the UK.
  • Gas handlingBuilt-in mixing of hydrogen and oxygen with an intelligent sensor array. Explosion-proof design with triple protection.
  • CoolingIntelligent air-cooled heat dissipation with water-circulation support. Engineered for sustained high-output sessions.
  • HumidifierOne-way sealed design with integrated purification.
  • Operation feedbackIntelligent voice broadcast for session status, water alerts and timer notifications.

Water & consumables

What goes in, and how often.

  • Water typeDistilled or deionised water only. Available in supermarkets at around £1 per litre.
  • Water tankLarger than the Nova — sustained high-flow operation requires more water per session.
  • FilterOne filter included, pre-fitted. Lasts approximately 12 months. Replacement pack of two: £39.00.

Physical

Where it lives.

  • FormatMobile chassis with handles and castors. Larger than the Gen and Nova — designed for a dedicated space rather than a side table.
  • PowerStandard UK three-pin mains.

Support & warranty

Direct, UK, no distributor.

  • Warranty2 years, registered automatically, handled directly by the UK team.
  • SupportEmail our UK team — same team that processes orders.
  • RepairCollection arranged by us, postage covered both ways for the first two years.

For Medic buyers we'd suggest a brief exchange before ordering — we can talk you through the setup and protocol considerations by email. The full manual is available on request, by email or printed with your order. The Hydro Medic is a wellness device and is not classified as a medical device in the UK.

Questions, answered

The questions worth asking.

When is the Medic the right choice?

Three contexts, honestly. First: if your daily session is fifteen minutes or less and you need to reach tissue saturation in that window. Second: if you're building a structured longevity protocol with specific higher-dose targets. Third: intensive recovery contexts — elite athletic, post-operative under medical guidance, or similar. For a standard 30–60 minute daily practice, the Nova does the same job at nearly half the price.

I can afford the Medic. Should I just buy it?

Probably not, unless one of the three contexts above applies. The difference in real-world benefit between the Nova (at a standard session length) and the Medic is small enough that most people find the Nova delivers everything they need. Buying the Medic "to be sure" usually means paying for output you'll never use. We'd rather point you at the right machine than the biggest one.

How long is a typical session on the Medic?

Fifteen minutes is often enough. At 3,000 ml/min, tissue saturation is reached quickly; sustained sessions beyond that point add diminishing benefit for most people. Longer sessions are fine and sometimes called for in specific protocols — the machine is rated for continuous run up to 8 hours. The question is usually not how long, but whether you need this level of flow in the first place.

What makes it different from the Nova?

Flow rate — twice the Nova, at 3,000 ml/min. Physical format — larger chassis, twin-tank architecture, castors for mobility. Session character — built for sustained high-output use, suited to treatment rooms or dedicated home installations. Everything else is shared: same USA-manufactured PEM membrane, same 2-year UK warranty, same direct UK support, same care from the same team.

Is it suitable for a treatment-room or professional setting?

Yes. The Medic's chassis, castors and handles are designed for mobility between treatment spaces. Several H2 Pure Life customers use it in osteopathic, longevity-clinic or private-practice contexts, always alongside the standard disclaimer that the machine is a wellness device and is not classified as a medical device in the UK.

What kind of water does it need?

Distilled or deionised water only. Tap water contains minerals that shorten the life of the electrolyzer considerably — this is true across the whole range, but matters more on the Medic given the higher consumption rate. The TDS pen included in the box confirms water purity before each refill.

Is it noisy?

Noticeably louder than the Nova at peak flow, given the twin-tank architecture and the higher output. Still well within the range of a comfortable treatment space or home office. Not a machine you'd place beside a sleeping partner.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. We offer Klarna and Clearpay at checkout, both interest-free. The Hydro Medic works out at around £1,188 per month over four months with Clearpay, or three monthly payments with Klarna. If you'd rather arrange something different, our UK team can help — just email us.

What happens if something goes wrong?

Email our UK team. We handle warranty directly — no international returns, no grey-market complications, no going through a distributor. If a repair is needed, we arrange collection and cover postage both ways for the first two years. The Medic's service record is excellent; in the rare case of an issue, we aim to turn it around inside a week.

A considered choice, properly supported.

For Medic buyers we'd particularly recommend a brief exchange before ordering — we can talk you through setup, protocol considerations, and confirm the Medic is the right machine for your context. No pressure, no funnel.
